JR Gas & Water supplies and professionally installs the WFW Single Economy Undersink Water Filter System across eligible Brisbane and Gold Coast properties. It is a compact point-of-use drinking-water filter using one replaceable treatment cartridge inside a conventional under-sink housing.

The cartridge selected determines what the Single Economy actually treats. Water Filter World currently offers Basic, Mid-Grade and High-Grade versions, allowing the same compact housing format to be configured for different drinking-water treatment requirements.

Single means one housing. The standard WFW Single Economy does not have a separate sediment pre-filter before the carbon cartridge. If you specifically want dedicated sediment filtration followed by carbon treatment, the WFW Twin Economy provides the more appropriate two-housing configuration.

How Does the WFW Single Economy Undersink Filter Work?

Water from the kitchen cold-water supply enters the single filter housing, passes through the selected treatment cartridge and then travels to the filtered-water outlet.

One Cartridge Performs the Selected Treatment

The Single Economy has one physical filtration housing. The installed cartridge therefore determines the main filtration function, micron rating and manufacturer-listed reduction capability of the system.

This is different from a Twin Economy system, where a separate first-stage sediment cartridge protects a second carbon-treatment cartridge. A specialised Single Economy cartridge can perform several treatment functions inside one filter, but that does not make the product a five-housing or five-cartridge system.
