Already Have a Water Point Behind the Fridge?

If your previous refrigerator was already connected to mains water, there may already be a dedicated isolation valve or fridge water connection behind or beside the fridge cavity.

Where that point is accessible, serviceable and suitable for the new appliance, the fridge can generally be connected without installing a completely new water line.

The existing isolation valve and connection are checked before the appliance is connected, the water supply turned on and the completed connection tested for leaks.
