Choosing the right Solar hot water system package depends on your installation needs, household size, and whether additional electrical work is required. Use this guide to compare package levels and find the best fit for your home.

Selecting the right package helps streamline installation, but we understand that needs may change, and that the purchaser isn’t a plumber. We’re flexible and can make adjustments, such as upgrading to the next package as needed.

💡 Which Package is Right for You?

✅ Base – For compliant replacements
Ideal for direct swaps where the existing system meets compliance. No extra plumbing or electrical work included.

(EXAMPLE - A Rheem Loline 325 replacing complaint Rheem loline 325 not a Rheem loline 400l)

✅ Silver – For minor upgrades
Includes pipework alterations and a valve kit but does not include electrical modifications or system disposal. Designed for those swapping a similar system and working to a tight budget. 

(EXAMPLE - Swapping a 10year old Rheem Loline 400L with a new Rheem Loline 325 where the existing installation is good but requires pipework alterations to adapt the new unit and new valve set for warranty)

🏆 Gold (Best Seller) – For standard installations
Covers old system removal and plumbing modifications, making it the most common choice for standard installations.

(EXAMPLE - Swapping a 20year old Dux Ecosmart with a new Envirosun AS315, Strip all down and redo the valves, pipework, drain lines, support base and dispose of the old unit)

💰 Sapphire (Best Value) – For installations requiring electrical work
Adds electrical safety features like an isolator, safety switch, and cable extensions to ensure a compliant and safe electrical connection.

(EXAMPLE - Swapping an old Conergy High Mount Boosted Unit with a new Envirosun AS400 mid mount boosted system that requires a lower hardwired electrical connection, then strip all down and redo the valves, pipework, drain lines, support base and dispose of the old unit)

✅ Diamond – For homes needing extensive electrical work
Provides extra plumbing and electrical modifications, including a new electrical circuit, making it ideal for homes without existing or undersized wiring for a solar system.

(EXAMPLE - Swapping an old solar system with undersized electrical with a new solar that needs its own dedicated 20amp electrical circuit, type then strip all down and redo the valves, pipework, drain lines, support base and dispose of the old unit)

✅ Platinum – The ultimate package
Includes everything – system relocation, extensive plumbing and electrical upgrades, solar circulating lines, and a new electrical circuit for complete installation flexibility.

(EXAMPLE - Replacing any existing system of any type then relocating it to a new position on the house that requires the electrical/plumbing to be installed or relocated to the new installation position)
