How the Puretec FILTERWALL F5 Works
The F5 is installed on the cold mains-water line at the point of entry. Water passes through three large 20-inch MaxiPlus™ cartridges before entering the household plumbing.

PL20MP2
20-micron washable pleated sediment cartridge. This first stage uses a large pleated surface area to reduce coarser suspended material before it reaches the finer downstream cartridges.
The washable polyester media provides the F5 with a reusable first-line sediment stage, although the cartridge still requires replacement when its service life is reached.

5-micron graded polyspun sediment cartridge. The second stage reduces finer dirt, rust, sand, silt, algae and suspended particles that pass the first cartridge.
