JR Gas & Water provides outdoor kitchen plumbing, gas fitting and optional modular cabinet assembly throughout Greater Brisbane and the Gold Coast.

We can connect customer-supplied outdoor kitchens including sinks, tapware, BBQs, pizza ovens and other suitable appliances, with the option to assemble and position compatible modular cabinets before completing the final plumbing and gas connections.

Important – Services Must Be at the Outdoor Kitchen Location

Standard online installation pricing assumes the required water, waste and/or gas services are already installed at the outdoor kitchen location and ready for connection.

This means:

• Water supply is available at the cabinet location

• Waste/drainage connection is available at the cabinet location

• Gas supply is available at the cabinet location where gas installation is selected

• Existing services are accessible and suitable

• Services are correctly sized for the appliances being connected

Running new services from another part of the property is not included in the standard installation price.

If new water, drainage or gas pipework is required, JR Gas & Water can assess and quote the additional work separately.

Choose Your Installation

Plumbing Only

Choose Plumbing Only where suitable water and waste connections are already provided at the outdoor kitchen location.

Standard plumbing installation can include:

• Outdoor kitchen sink installation

• Tap or mixer installation

• Cold-water connection

• Hot and cold water connection where both services are provided

• Connection to the existing waste point

• Sink trap and standard waste fittings

• Isolation valves where required

• Testing and leak checking

• Commissioning of connected plumbing fixtures

The standard price assumes the water and waste points are located within or immediately behind the outdoor kitchen cabinetry.

Gas Only

Choose Gas Only where a suitable gas supply has already been installed at the outdoor kitchen location.

Suitable appliances can include:

• Built-in gas BBQ

• Gas pizza oven

• Gas cooktop

• Side burner

• Other approved outdoor gas appliances

Standard gas installation can include:

• Natural Gas or LPG connection

• Connection to the existing suitable gas point

• Appliance isolation where required

• Gas leak testing

• Operating pressure checks

• Appliance commissioning

• Basic operational testing

• Gas compliance documentation where applicable

The existing gas supply must be suitable and adequately sized for the connected appliance.

Plumbing & Gas

Choose Plumbing & Gas where the outdoor kitchen requires both plumbing and gas fitting and the required services have already been provided at the kitchen location.

All required components should be onsite before installation, including where applicable:

• Pizza oven

• Side burners

• Appliance mounting hardware

• Manufacturer-supplied hoses

• Manufacturer-supplied fittings

• Installation instructions

Missing, damaged or incorrect components may prevent completion during the scheduled visit.

Water Connection Requirements

For a standard plumbing installation, the required water connection must already be available at the outdoor kitchen.

This can be:

• Cold water only

• Hot and cold water

The connection should be accessible within or immediately behind the proposed cabinetry.

Standard installation does not include running new water pipework from another part of the property.

Waste Connection Requirements

A suitable sanitary waste connection must already be available at the outdoor kitchen location.

Standard installation includes connection of the outdoor kitchen sink to this existing waste point.

It does not include:

• Running drainage across the property

• New underground drainage

• Connection into distant sanitary drains

• Extensive excavation

• Concrete cutting

Where additional drainage is required, this can be assessed separately.

Gas Connection Requirements

For a standard gas installation, a suitable gas connection must already be provided at the outdoor kitchen location.

The existing connection must be appropriate for the appliance being installed.

Before commissioning, the gas fitter may need to verify:

• Natural Gas or LPG

• Existing gas pipe size

• Available gas pressure

• Appliance gas consumption

• Isolation

• General condition of the existing installation

If the existing gas pipe is undersized or unsuitable, additional work may be required.

Natural Gas & LPG

JR Gas & Water can connect suitable outdoor kitchen appliances operating on:

• Natural Gas

• LPG

The appliance must be correctly configured and approved for the gas type available at the property.

Conversion between gas types is not included unless specifically stated.

Outdoor Kitchen Sink Installation

Where a suitable water and waste point are already provided, standard sink installation can include:

• Installation of the sink into a suitable pre-cut opening

• Tap installation

• Water connection

• Waste connection

• Trap

• Standard fittings

• Leak testing

Specialist benchtop cutting is not included.

Outdoor Kitchen BBQ Installation

Suitable built-in BBQs can be connected where:

• A compliant gas connection is available

• The appliance is suitable for the gas type

• The cabinet is designed for the appliance

• Required ventilation is provided

• Manufacturer clearances are met

• The appliance can be safely accessed for connection and servicing

Gas Pizza Oven Installation

Suitable gas pizza ovens can also be connected where the required gas service is already available at the kitchen location.

Installation can include:

• Natural Gas connection

• LPG connection

• Appliance isolation

• Leak testing

• Operating pressure testing

• Appliance commissioning

Any appliance-specific ventilation, clearance or flue requirements must already be accommodated by the installation.

Cabinet & Appliance Preparation

Before JR Gas & Water attends, confirm that:

• The outdoor kitchen fits the available space

• All modules have been delivered

• Appliances fit the nominated modules

• Benchtops are compatible

• Required cut-outs are factory supplied or already completed

• Water, waste and gas services are at the kitchen location

• Electrical requirements have been completed separately where required

What Cabinet Assembly Includes

Cabinet assembly covers normal assembly of a complete modular outdoor kitchen system using the manufacturer's supplied components.

It does not include custom fabrication.

Cabinet Assembly Does Not Include

Standard cabinet assembly does not include:

• Custom cabinetry

• Altering cabinet dimensions

Additional work may be required where:

• Water pressure is unsuitable

• Waste connection is incorrectly positioned

• Waste pipework is damaged

• Gas pipework is undersized

• Gas pressure is unsuitable

• Pipework is damaged

• Connections are inaccessible

• Existing services are non-compliant

• Services cannot accommodate the selected appliances
