Essentials Back-to-Wall Rimless Toilet โ Supply & Install
Upgrade your bathroom with a cleaner, more modern toilet design with the Essentials Back-to-Wall Rimless Toilet Suite, professionally supplied and installed by JR Gas & Water.
With the pan sitting neatly against the wall, exposed pipework and difficult-to-clean gaps behind the toilet are reduced. The rimless pan, soft-close seat and concealed back-to-wall design make this an excellent choice for homeowners wanting a modern toilet without moving into premium designer pricing.
This package includes the toilet, removal of your existing toilet, new standard connection fittings, professional installation and disposal.
Why Choose the Essentials Back-to-Wall Rimless Toilet?
A back-to-wall toilet provides a much cleaner finished appearance than a traditional link suite or standard close coupled toilet.
The pan extends back to the wall, helping conceal the waste and water connections and eliminating the large exposed gap commonly found behind older toilets.
The Essentials suite also features a rimless pan, making the bowl easier to access and clean.

Rimless Toilet Design
Traditional toilet bowls have an enclosed rim around the top of the bowl where water is distributed during flushing.
The Essentials Back-to-Wall Suite uses a rimless pan, removing much of this enclosed rim area.
This provides:
-
Easier access when cleaning
-
Fewer difficult-to-reach areas
-
Cleaner internal bowl design
-
Modern appearance
-
Simple everyday maintenance
For busy family bathrooms, the rimless design is one of the main reasons we recommend stepping up to the back-to-wall option.
Back-to-Wall Design
Unlike a traditional toilet with exposed space behind the pan, a back-to-wall toilet is designed to sit neatly against the finished wall.
This helps conceal the plumbing connections and creates a much more streamlined installation.
Benefits include:
Is This Toilet Suitable for My Bathroom?
This package is designed for a standard replacement using the existing waste and water locations.
The Essentials Back-to-Wall Suite accommodates common residential toilet configurations including:
S-Trap: Standard 100โ160 mm set-out
P-Trap: 185 mm set-out
The toilet also has a bottom-entry inlet that can be configured for suitable left or right-side water entry.
Back-to-wall toilets generally require greater compatibility with the existing plumbing than a link suite because the toilet pan sits directly against the wall.
Photos of your existing toilet and surrounding plumbing may be requested before installation to help confirm suitability.
Back-to-Wall vs Close Coupled Toilet
Both options provide a modern upgrade from an older link suite, but there is an important difference.
Close Coupled Toilet
A close coupled toilet has the cistern mounted directly onto the pan, but there can still be an exposed area behind the toilet.
It is a good choice when:
-
Keeping costs lower is important
-
You want a modern standard toilet
-
Existing plumbing limits back-to-wall compatibility
Back-to-Wall Toilet
A back-to-wall toilet has the pan extending all the way back to the wall.
It is a better choice when:
-
Appearance is important
-
You want easier cleaning around the toilet
-
You want less visible plumbing
-
You prefer a more finished bathroom appearance
-
You are upgrading or renovating the bathroom
For most homeowners wanting the best combination of appearance, practicality and value, our Essentials Back-to-Wall Rimless Suite is our preferred toilet replacement option where the existing plumbing is compatible.

The Essentials Back-to-Wall Rimless Toilet is ideal for:
