The toilet also has a bottom-entry inlet that can be configured for suitable left or right-side water entry.

Back-to-wall toilets generally require greater compatibility with the existing plumbing than a link suite because the toilet pan sits directly against the wall.

Existing Waste and Water Points Must Remain in Their Current Locations

The standard package does not include relocating the waste or water connection.

The existing plumbing must be positioned within a suitable location and range for the selected toilet to be installed.

Because a back-to-wall toilet sits directly against the wall, existing water points, waste positions or other fittings that interfere with the toilet may require alteration before installation can be completed.

Any required alterations are outside the standard installation price.

Not Included

The standard installation price does not include:

• Moving or relocating the toilet waste point

• Moving or relocating the water point

• Altering sanitary drainage to accommodate an unsuitable set-out

• Cutting or modifying concrete

• Cutting or replacing tiles

• Floor repairs

• Floor levelling

Important Back-to-Wall Installation Requirement

Back-to-wall toilets have less tolerance for incorrectly positioned plumbing than traditional link suites.

The existing:

• Waste set-out

• Water inlet

• Isolation valve

• Wall position

• Skirting

• Floor level

• Available space

must allow the toilet to sit correctly against the finished wall.

If the existing plumbing prevents the toilet from sitting against the wall, plumbing alterations may be required and are not included in the standard package.

Existing Floor Condition

The new toilet may have a different footprint from the toilet being removed.

Once the old toilet is removed, previously concealed flooring may have:

• Old silicone marks

• Different coloured tiles

• Missing or unfinished tiles

• Staining or discolouration

• Floor damage

• Uneven surfaces
