Select Your Required Package and Install Timeframe Below
Choose your installation package first, then choose your preferred timeframe. Not sure which package suits your home?
Step 1 of 6
Is the heater inside or outside?
If the heater is inside, the Internal Install Pack must be added unless Platinum applies.
Any access issues?
Restricted paths, stairs, steep ground, crane needs, obstructions or anything outside standard access should be quoted first.
What are you replacing?
This page is for electric storage installs. Choose what you are replacing so we can guide you to the right package.
Is the new unit going in the same spot?
Moving the system usually pushes the job into the relocation package.
Does your existing system meet current compliance requirements?
Confirm whether the existing installation is already suitable for a standard compliant replacement.
See what a compliant installation usually needs
For a standard electric storage replacement, the existing setup should generally meet these points:
- The system is installed upright on a solid, stable and level compliant base, using a rippled concrete base or other approved spacer where required.
- The unit is positioned facing forward so the controls, valves, electrical components and service points remain accessible.
- A compliant Duo valve and pressure limiting valve are fitted to the cold-water supply.
- A compliant tempering valve is fitted to the property where required, delivering tempered water to the applicable sanitary fixtures.
- The PTR valve and ECV are fitted correctly and discharge through compliant drain lines to an approved discharge point.
- PTR and ECV drain lines are correctly sized, supported, graded and installed without restrictions, valves or unsafe termination points.
- Hot-water pipework and exposed hot fittings are appropriately insulated, while all valves remain accessible for operation and servicing.
- All valves, fittings and associated pipework are correctly sized, serviceable, pressure-rated and installed in accordance with current requirements.
- The system has a suitable dedicated electrical supply, compliant connection and accessible isolation arrangement for the installed unit.
- Pipework is adequately supported and arranged so it does not place unnecessary strain on the heater connections or valves.
- Required clearances around the unit are maintained for safe operation, inspection, servicing and future replacement.
