Competition Terms and Conditions

1. Prize Details:

  • The prize consists of $$$$$ off the installation of a heat pump or hot water system based on JR Gas & Water's 5-day install rate with Gold inclusions. 
  • For water filters, the prize is $$$$$ off installation based on the Silver inclusions.
  • This discount applies only to the advertised rates available on the JR Gas & Water website and cannot be combined with other offers or promotions.
  • Prize on valid for homeowners in Greater Brisbane, Gold or Sunshine Coasts of Queensland, Australia

2. Competition Duration:

  • The competition will run from the first day to the last day of each month.
  • The contest becomes active and valid only if the competition post reaches a total of 1,000 engagements (likes, shares, and follows), including a minimum of 250 new followers for JR Gas & Water on Facebook.

3. Eligibility:

  • The competition is open to residents of Brisbane and the Gold Coast who are 18 years or older.
  • Employees of JR Gas & Water and their immediate family members are not eligible to enter.

4. How to Enter:

  • To participate, you must like, comment, and share the designated competition post and follow the JR Gas & Water Facebook page.
  • Each participant can only enter the competition once per monthly contest cycle.

5. Winner Selection:

  • The winner will be selected from all eligible entries after the engagement targets (1,000 likes/shares/follows and 250 new followers) have been reached.
  • The winner will be notified via Facebook within 7 days of the contest ending.

6. Photo Requirement:

  • The winner agrees to have a photo taken with the installed heat pump, hot water system, or water filter as part of the prize package.
  • This photo will be used by JR Gas & Water for promotional purposes on social media and other marketing platforms.
  • By entering the competition, participants agree to the use of their name, image, and any comments for promotional purposes, without additional compensation or prior notice.

7. Prize Conditions:

  • The prize is non-transferable, and there is no cash alternative.
  • Installation must be scheduled within 3 months of the winner being notified.
  • The winner must reside within JR Gas & Water's service area to claim the prize.

8. Cancellation and Amendments:

  • JR Gas & Water reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation, or any other event outside the company’s control.

9. Liability:

  • JR Gas & Water will not be held responsible for any entries not received, for reasons such as internet or technical failures.
  • The company will not be responsible for any damage or loss resulting from the acceptance and use of the prize.

10. Privacy:

  • Any personal data provided as part of the competition will be stored securely and used solely for the purposes of administering this contest.

By entering this competition, participants confirm they have read, understood, and agree to these terms and conditions.
